It seems like yesterday that I started Mary’s Daughter, but it has actually been over 5 years!
What an amazing journey it has been!
Some people are unclear what I do as a daily money manager. so I thought it was time to “get back to basics” and explain how I serve the seniors and veterans who are my clients.
I help seniors and veterans with bill paying, opening and sorting mail, reviewing financial statements and organizing important medical and financial paperwork.
I consult with financial advisors, CPAs, estate attorneys, and geriatric care managers on behalf of clients who need these professional services.
An important part of my work is to protect my clients from fraud and identity theft by closely monitoring financial statements and shredding documents with identifying information.
Recently, I was honored to share my story in an article by Virginia Rose, a wonderful writer and the Member Coordinator for Dane Buy Local, a non-profit organization made up of over 700 member businesses. I have enjoyed being a member of this organization and support the campaign to”Buy Local” whenever possible.
The Importance of Ethics and Standards of Practice
It is my hope to continue to serve the community for as long as I am able. I feel privileged to do this work and am honored to have earned the trust of my clients, colleagues and referral partners!
This legacy means the world to me and is my heartfelt tribute to my mom, Mary, without whom there would be no Mary’s Daughter.
